Trade Association Memberships
GlassEco Surfaces is a division of Fisher Recycling, which became a Certified Woman-Owned Small Business in 2016. We're proud to be active members of several reputable trade associations in the region. These memberships benefit our business and our clients, as we continually learn new skills and meet key contacts in the industry.
The Charleston and Hilton Head Area Home Builders Associations have recently joined to form the Home Builders Association of the Lowcountry (HBALC). GlassEco serves clients in both locations and has been an active member since 2019,
GlassEco Surfaces joined the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2020, and the Fisher family has been very involved since as advocates for glass recycling. Membership has proven to be a valuable way to educate people about our sustainable product line.
GlassEco owner Elizabeth Fisher was a founding member of the Lowcountry chapter of Professional Women in Building in 2024. She now acts as the organization’s Membership Chair and is happy to share details with any women in the industry who may be interested.
GlassEco Surfaces’ newest membership is to the Greater Bluffton Chamber. Joining in 2026 was a natural progression for our business, as we continue to work with more designers and homeowners in the Bluffton area near Hilton Head Island, SC.
